I made
it in mid-August for the weekend. As I had apples, I added two which I put on
top of the dough before baking.
4 eggs
(200g), sugar (200g), flour (200g), butter (200g, melted and cooled) and 1
teaspoon (11g) baking powder (optional). Use a 25 cm diameter cake pan.
Preparation
1. Put
the eggs and sugar in a bowl. Whisk together.
2. Stir
in the melted butter that has already been cooled and mix to obtain a smooth
paste.
3. Stir
in the sifted flour and mix until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
4. Add
the baking powder.
5. Pour
into a buttered and floured pan and place in the oven for 40 minutes at 180 °
C.
Looks lovely. I bet it's great with a cup of tea. :-)
