Parc de la Mare and Signal de Bernex

Ona a grey, cloudy and rainy Sunday, we went to Parc de la Mare and its surrounding area to get some fresh air and stretch our legs.

This park, away from the city, has plenty of charm.  It is part of the territory of Bernex, a village with typical houses and many vineyard landscapes.

We climbed to the top of the Signal de Bernex, which is a hill that dominates the plain of the local area. It is the second highest point in the canton of Geneva and stands at 509.8 meters.

This area is well worth a visit for its nice observation point over Geneva and for a walk in the cute park garden with its marvellous pond.

Hope you enjoyed this tour.
