Heidi country

What do you think of when you hear the name Heidi?

When I hear that name an image comes to mind...The little orphan who lives with her grandfather in a pasture somewhere in the canton of Grisons here in Switzerland. Throughout my childhood I watched the cartoon television series Heidi, as well as Marco.

These images that I leave you here, photographed somewhere in Switzerland, this summer, from a secluded and authentic place, remind me each time of Heidi country: the pastures, the rugged and picturesque world of the mountains...

I hope the photographs speak for themselves, even if they are far from reflecting what I felt for real ... I had to show them to you.

By the way, Heidi is a work of fiction for children by the Swiss author Johanna Spyri
