The "reader's
look" is a page where I will show my outfits in a simple and casual way.
I’ll try to show interesting things, things I like and you ladies like to see,
as well as give you hints and tips.
To begin with, I
never thought of doing outfit posts but only to give tips about my favourite
boutiques here and elsewhere. I am the type of person who doesn't like to be
exposed and have only a few photos of myself (Bday, Xmas, holidays) plus I am
not photogenic, and cameras make me nervous (unless I am on the other side of
them). But my dear school friend O.R. said "...dear, image is worth
words...and we adore your wardrobe, please share a bit of your daily
look...." I gave it a second thought and followed her advice and let my
shyness aside. Yet it always takes me a few minutes to feel at ease.
So, I gained
courage and made this session on the beach, in a bikini for my first post on
the "reader's look", where you can see me just like I am. The fact
that the amateur photographer, Helena S., is a woman and a warm person has
definitely helped me. And this bikini by Roxy, pretty comfortable and sexy at
the same time, gave me the courage I lacked. It was easy and fun and I confess
that to show this brand gave me great pleasure. Thank you Helena, the photos
were good, and this bit was fun.
Later I will
probably speak of Helena S. as she is about to publish a book for children, a
trilogy ....but psssst...let's keep it for ourselves at the moment... though I
am impatient to read it, fingers crossed.
Now back to my
beach kit: the basket was love at first sight, it is spacious and pretty to
carry everything you need for a great day at the beach (or a picnic in the
park). As for the fouta towel I hesitated, not for long, because even though it
looks nice I wondered if it would be comfortable because of its delicate and
fine appearance... yet it turned out to have more advantages than a traditional
beach towel: lightweight, fast drying, super comfortable, spacious and elegant
(that counts too)... My beautiful hat made a lucky person in the airport
because I lost it on my way back to Switzerland. And the list would not be
complete without a good sun protector (will post separately suggestions on sun
protector)... and - being a reader - a great book, of course!
I hope you ladies
enjoyed this post.
