Minimalist white dress

I never get tired of white dresses. That day as in most days, I just wanted to feel elegant and comfortable (it is my motto)... What could give me the best look on my cinnamon skin? A white dress with gold sandals! Minimalist, so as to keep an immaculately cool look: my all-time favourite. No makeup no fuss, just feeling feminine and happy on this public holiday that commemorates the death, on 10 June 1580, of national literary icon Luís de Camões.

A Wednesday full of joy under Lisbon grey sky! I spent the day with my friend R. who was also there on holidays having come all the way from Hong Kong. We strolled around downtown Lisbon and headed to an exquisite traditional Portuguese tasca in Restauradores, Beira Gare. There we had a late lunch of typical seaside food: polvo à Galega (octopus Galician style), grilled prawns, pâté of tuna, mixed salad, regional cheese, delicious white wine...

After our feast we needed to walk again, so we explored the city by foot and shoot a few photos, sharing moments of fun... That was R.’s last day in Lisbon – till next time!!!
